Wings 9 - Section 2 Love

We will work with the theme of love as seen in Wings 9 Black, section 2. We will work both with texts, exercises and listening material from the book, as well as use other types of materials. This will include short stories, novels, TV-shows and a movie.

We will:

1) Work with words related to the theme to expand our vocabulary.

2) Read and listen to texts from the book

3) Do an oral presentation, based upon a novel, a movie or a show of your choosing.

4) Read a short story, write about it and work through it again to become better writers and readers of English.

5) Work with grammar, including uncountable nouns (substantiv), conditional clauses (villkorsbisatser) and reflexive pronouns

6) Speed date with another class at Kvarnbyskolan (details are still being worked out) to become better speakers

7) Practise to write a text and read each other's to give feedback

8) Create a imaginary character that you will act out during, for example, the speed dating exercise
