Theme: the United States of America

In this theme, we will learn more about the United States of America and different aspects about the country. We will learn about its history, geography, culture and so on. A few of the areas we will work with include:

-A discussion about topics related to the US. This will be done in small groups of roughly 3.

-American literature, in the form of a short story.

-Comparing our own lives to that of America and different aspects of English

-A group project, where you will make a video commercial about a state geared toward tourists.

-Grammar: We will work with, for example, "there and it", the genitive, "how to use the Swedish phrase of "brukar" and "brukade".

-A short writing assignment, either comparing Sweden to the US, or aspects of comparison (sports, religion, politics etc.)
