Texts and oral presentations – Feed the Right Wolf
Think about “The Freedom Writers”. What did you learn about crime, gang wars, racism and poverty? Also think about my speech this Monday. Can you use the work we have done in English class over the last two weeks to make good choices for yourself in the future?
If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.

Thursday the 18th of May: Plan your text
Brainstorm/mind map and outline a diary entry/poem/song/rap (same method as for your essays).

Monday the 22nd of May: Write your text
Homework for Thursday the 1st of June: Write key words for an oral presentation of your text (around 2 minutes/student).

Thursday the 1st of June: The presentations start
Practice and let me know when you feel ready for your presentation.
Present your work to at least two classmates.
Assess your own presentation and the presentations of the classmates you have listened to.

Thursday the 8th of June: Final English class of 8th grade
Your last opportunity to do your oral presentations.
