USA Travel Plan

Let's make a plan and travel to the USA.

Goal

To research, create and give a presentation about a trip in the United States of America. The trip will go to five different states in the US and you pick which ones you go to and what you want to do in each state.

Instructions

Research: First you need to decide which five states you want to go to. For each state, pick one city and/or tourist attraction to go to. Perhaps you know a place you would like to visit because you’ve heard about it or seen it in a movie, etc. Find out where that place is and learn more about it. Find pictures and information about the states or destinations and save that in a document under class assignments. Remember to save your sources (URLs)!

 

OBS! You can only pick three of the following states for your trip: California, Florida, Texas, New York, Hawaii. This is because these states are very popular destinations.

 

Creation: Make a Google presentation using the information and pictures that you found in your research. Decide what you want to say during your presentation and rehearse. If you want ideas for what to include in your presentation, take a look at the example presentation. Make sure you are well prepared. If you want “speaking cards”, you will get that.

 

Presentation: The presentation should take at most three minutes. You will show it to your group on your own computer.
