It is now time to get to know the United Kingdom better. Your task is to make a fictional journey to a place in the UK and document it all in Google Tour Builder. I will divide you into groups and each group will get a city to travel to.

You will start in Gothenburg and land at an airport in the UK. There are some things you need to do before getting on the plane and start your journey, though. You must find Airline Tickets (how much do they cost, how long does the flight take, is it a direct flight or not? Where will you land? etc). (If it’s not possible to fly directly to your city, you might need to land somewhere else and then take another flight / a train / a bus or something else to get to your destination.

After landing in the UK and travelled to your city, you must have a place to stay. Where would that be? Look for hotels (pricing, location etc.) Include a link to the hotel’s web page in Tour Builder.

You are staying in your city for a couple of days. While there you should visit 2 or 3 famous places. Write about them, and include links to web pages, pictures etc.

While being there you should, obviously, write about what you are doing. What places are you visiting? Where and what do you eat? etc. Document everything by pointing out the locations on the map. Provide text, links, pictures etc.

You also have lots of time to reflect about the country you are visiting. Write about your thoughts of the country. Try to learn more about School, Politics, sports, food, cars, traditions, holidays, nature, climate/weather, stereotypes etc.

Try to find pictures to document your journey with, as well as text. Also try to include links to web pages with information to the different places you visit, hotels you stay at etc.

You have 4 lessons to complete this task. Deadline is set to 24/5. On the 30th of May you should be ready to show your journey to your friends and talk about it.
