Speech/My favourite thing

Du ska på engelskan förbereda och genomföra ett speech som är knutet till en av dina favoritsaker. Detta kan vara en verklig sak eller en sak som funnits tidigare i ditt liv. Saken ska tas med eller visas upp på annat sätt när speechet hålls. Du redovisar i mindre grupp.

Speech about your favourite "thing"

You will speak for3-4minutes in total. Time your speech during preparations to make sure it is not too short. The following will help you:

* Start by saying something like "Today I will talk about my ...."
* Describe the "thing" (colours, materials, textures, patterns, components, age, country of manufacturing ... if possible)
* Talk about the history of the "thing": when did you get it? who gave it to you? did you buy it yourself? how old is it? where is it from? has anyone had it before you?...
* Explain why it matters to you -- why do you like it so much?
* Try to be enthusiastic in your speech and talk slowly. Feel free to include a question or two for the people listening -- to make sure that they really listened!  :)
