Read different texts on games and examples of game reviews. Learning new words and phrasing.

Writing

Structure your review like this:

 1. Introduction

 Write 5-10 sentences that sums up the game (don't spoil the game too much and try to catch the reader's attention!) Are there any rhetorical devises you know that you can use.

 2. The body of your review

 This is where you write more about the game. The following must be included:

• A description of the game.
• What kind of game is it?
• What is the game about?
• What are you supposed to do?
• What do you like about the game?
• What don’t you like?
• Your own opinion.

Include some concept of the game (write about at least two different things)

• Story
• Characters
• Content
• Controls
• Gameplay
• Graphics
• Music

 3. Write an ending paragraph.

Sum it all up with an ending paragraph. Write PROS and CONS about the game

Give the game a score, make up your own grading system.

You are going to write this review on the computer, so feel free to use pictures if you want to. After the first writing I will look at the texts and give you a comment, then you must work with the text again, to make it even better!
