You are going to make an oral presentation in front of a small group, in English :) See instructions for more info!

 

Time to talk!

 

It is time to speak English… again!

Choose a topic. Here are some suggestions:

·       A memory

·       An artist

·       My favourite (thing to do, eat, play,)

·       A trip

Or any other subject (check with me first)

 

You are required to talk for at least 3 minutes. /Kravet är att prata i minst 3 minuter.

The presentations will be in small groups. Apart from you, there should be at least one more person except for me, your teacher.

The presentation should have an introduction where you explain the topic of your presentation.

Instead of saying” “Today I am going to talk about” choose one of these introductions:

·       Did you know…

·       My favourite….

·       My family and me took a trip to… /went to…

·       One of my favourite memories is when…

·       My favourite artist is…

In your presentation you should;

·       Explain

·       Describe

·       Give examples

 

Your presentation should also have a conclusion (avslutning).

This is where you summarize what you have said. You can end with a question, a statement such as “this is why this is my favourite…” “or this is so far my best memory”, “Now you know why/what…”.

 

 

The presentations will take place during week 49 and 50.
