Tyska: different text types

We get to know various types of texts and their characteristics by reading and writing postcards, short letters and invitations.
Besides the factual texts we will also read poems and other fictional text types.

- we write a post card to a German friend or a family member

- we read different letters and write a short fantasy letter to a lioness

- we write an invitation to our carnival party

- we read poems about the seasons and other topics

- we read and discuss stories

As a result we will train our reading abilities (quiet and aloud), text comprehension, writing skills, re-narrating and vocabulary.
