Customs and Traditions in the English-speaking World

During the next few weeks, we're going to be working with customs and traditons in the English-speaking world.

The pupils in grades 4 and 5 have received/will receive a two-part assignment.

1) They are to write an essay about a custom/customs or a tradition/traditions practised by English-speakers. The word limit is 150-500 words for grade 4 and 300-800 words for grade 5 and they have two weeks to complete this.

2) After completing the essay, the pupils are to prepare a presentation of the same tradition(s)/custom(s) which includes at least one picture and is 1-5 minutes long.
