Reading a novel in English

Klass 9C ska läsa en valfri roman på engelska. Därefter ska en bokrecension skrivas enligt nedanstående instruktion på engelska.

Hi everyone!

The nextcoming weeks we will read a novel of your own choise during our English lessons. After having read the book I want you to write a book  review.  I want you to hand in your book review by Friday 20 November. Send me your book review by mail or share the document with me.

I want you to include the following:

• Some information about the author, i e the year it was written and who the author is.
• Who are the main characters in the book?
• Retell the plot briefly (not too detailed)
• What is your opinion of the novel? Please explain your thoughts and feelings after having read it.
• Is there a message in the book?
• Describe one of the characters thoroughly!
• Name three things in the book you reacted on
• What did you think about the book - good/bad - why?
• Would you recommend the book - why/why not?

Please remember that it is not allowed to copy and paste texts from the Internet to your text. Write at least half a page up to one A4-page.
