USA - Past, Present and Future?

In this project we will learn about the American political system and presidential election and discuss current matters in relation to the upcoming presidential election in November. To understand the current political issues in American society and to foresee its possible futures we also have to understand its past, we will therefore begin this project with an historical background of the foundation of the country.

The aim of this project is to learn about and discuss the ongoing Presidential election in relation to the history of the country and the possible futures of the U.S. 

We will learn about:

- the geography and demography (groups of minorities within different regions) of the country

- The political system: the two-part system and the division of power  within the branches of government and how the Presidential

  election works

- About the history of the United States of America

- Ongoing political issues that are being discussed the weeks before the Presidential Election in November.
