Project Agenda 2030- Greta Thunberg- "No one is too small to make a difference"

Project - Agenda 2030

 

During the Autumn term we have been working with our project - Agenda 2030

The project has gone very well and you have all learnt a lot from each other.

 

So far you have :-

 

●      Translated all the 17 goals of Agenda 2030 into English.

●      Chosen 2 or 3 goals to investigate, by yourselves or in a small group.

●      You have made presentations of these goals to your class, by using digital presentations.

 

 

 

 

 The next step in our project:-

GRETA THUNBERG- “No one is too small to make a difference”.

 

Read about Greta Thunberg in her recently published book- "No one is too small to make a difference".

We will discuss the book in our lessons, live or as digital lessons, depending on the situation in Sweden..

We will think about her and what she stands for as an activist. What is it she is really trying to say and how this is related to the global project- Agenda 2030.

In week 4 – 6 of the calender, you will receive questions on the book as a test of your reading, understanding and your writing skills.

Share your answers with me in  Google Classroom or on Google drive. You may also mail them to me if you do not have Google.

Syfte med undervisningen

We are working with Agenda 2030 in the whole of Härryda kommun. This is a project that we will be working on all year.

Students will become more aware of what is happening in the world, open their eyes and become part of the global goals and involved in a positive way.

Students will have the time to speculate and reason with each other about the goals and if they are possible or not in the long run.

 

Hur kan vi utmana eleverna vidare?

We have worked with all 17 goals so far, we are now working with Greta Thunberg's book, we will soon start a music project related to Agenda 2030.

• Lässtrategier för att förstå och tolka skönlitterära texter. Att utläsa texters budskap, både det uttalade och sådant som står mellan raderna.
• Ordböcker och andra hjälpmedel för stavning och ordförståelse.
• Skönlitteratur för ungdomar och vuxna, lyrik, dramatik, sagor och myter från olika tider och områden där modersmålet talas. Skönlitteratur som belyser människors villkor, identitets- och livsfrågor.
• Beskrivande, förklarande, instruerande och argumenterande texter, till exempel tidningsartiklar och arbetsbeskrivningar. Texternas innehåll, typiska språkliga drag samt deras ord och begrepp.
• Aktuella samhällsfrågor i områden där modersmålet talas, i jämförelse med liknande frågor i Sverige.
