In this assignment you're going to write about an event, movement or famous person from the USA between 1950 and 1990. We'll also watch the movie Forrest Gump.

Innehåll

For the next few weeks you’re going to write an informational text about an event (händelse),  movement (rörelse) or a famous person from the USA between 1950 and 1990. Scroll down for some ideas!


The text should include the following:

1. Introduction – 100 words

a.      What are you going to write about and why?

b.      When did it happen? / Basic information about the person or movement.


2. What was it about? 200 – 400 words

a.      Why did it start / What is the person famous for?

b.      What was it about?

c.      What did it lead to? (Vad ledde detta till?)


3. Ending – 100 – 200 words

a.      What happened afterwards (Vad hände efteråt) / What’s the person/movement doing today?

b.      Write about it’s later years.

 
4.  Write down your sources (källor)


In this assignment Google is your best friend. BUT REMEMBER TO USE YOUR OWN WORDS! If you copy something you'll not get the grade you want!
