DIY Instruction Video

Make your own DIY instruction video! Here you will find the instructions and assessment for the project.

It's time for you to make your own DIY instruction video. In the video you should show and tell the viewers how to make something on their own. That means you have to film what you are doing as well as to give spoken instructions on how to do something.

 

1.Decide what your instruction should be about. It could be anything that you know how to do. The important thing is that you know how to do it well.

For example: 

• How to dye your hair

• how to cook a meal

• how to tie your shoelaces

• how to make a paper airplane 

• how to plant a seed
  

2.Prepare what to say in the video. Think about:
- You are making an instruction for someone who doesn’t know how to do this. The receiver of the instruction doesn’t know anything about your interest/the thing your instruction is about. Be sure to keep this in mind when you are making your instruction. Write notes on what to say, and in what order.

 

3.Prepare the material, tools and props you need in order to make the video.

4.Record your video by using the camera of your Ipad. If you want to, you can use Imovie to put the film together.

The video should be 1-3 minutes long. You have 3 lessons to complete the film.
