Who doesn't want to travel sometime in your life? But can we travel anywhere without knowing anything about the place where we are going? No, it is actually not a good idea. Sometimes it is really important for us to do right, otherwise, there can be severe consequences. It is also fun to learn and understand other people. That way we evolve as human beings. The human race needs to understand one another better!

Målen för modulen är:

Nivå 1 (åk 1-3):

Eleven skapar sig en förståelse för att engelska är ett världsspråk.

Eleven skapar sig förståelse för vad detta kan innebära vad gäller ord, uttal och stavning.

Eleven kan berätta om några platser där engelska talas.

 

Nivå 2 (åk 4-6):

Eleven skapar sig en förståelse för att engelska är ett världsspråk.

Eleven skapar sig förståelse för vad detta kan innebära vad gäller ord, uttal och stavning.

Eleven kan berätta om några platser där engelska talas och kan söka fakta om ett givet ämne. Utgångspunkten är UK och USA men kan med fördel ta upp även andra engelskspråkiga länder.

 

Nivå 3 (åk 7-9):

Eleven skapar sig en förståelse för att engelska är ett världsspråk.

Eleven skapar sig förståelse för vad detta kan innebära vad gäller ord, uttal, stavning, levnadsvillkor, traditioner, sociala relationer och kulturella företeelser.

Eleven kan berätta utförligt om några platser där engelska talas och göra enkla jämförelser av länderna.

Grammar:

We learn what to think about when we collect facts and use sources. When we have practiced together you will do a short Keynote that you will present infront of the class. Before you do it we will also look at how to do a Keynote.

We are going to use the media for information, radio, TV, news and social media. Who can we trust and why?
