<h2 data-start="1564" data-end="1624">Improve Your Life &ndash; One Small Change (Oral Presentation)</h2>
In this unit, We work on developing their oral communication skills in English. You plan and deliver a short presentation where they present a change in everyday life that could improve quality of life, such as sleep, food, exercise, motivation, or routines.
&nbsp;
During the unit, we practice structuring a presentation with an introduction, thesis, arguments, examples, and a conclusion. They also work on using clear and varied language, adapting their language to an audience, and using cue cards or a mind map to speak more freely.
You develop their ability to:

The unit concludes with a 3&ndash;5 minute oral presentation. The presentation is assessed based on content and structure, argumentation, use of examples, language and vocabulary, fluency, and how the presentation is concluded.
The assessment is based on the course knowledge requirements and focuses particularly on the student&rsquo;s ability to express themselves clearly, use varied language, and deliver a coherent oral presentation.

Lesson 1 &ndash; Introduction You are introduced to the topic How to Improve Your Life. They discuss habits and ideas that can improve daily life and begin thinking about a topic for their presentation.
Lesson 2 &ndash; Planning the presentation Youlearn how to structure a presentation with an introduction, thesis, arguments, and a conclusion. They start planning and writing their presentation.
Lesson 3 &ndash; Cue cards You learn how to create cue cards and supporting notes instead of reading from a script. They identify key words and prepare cue cards for their presentation.
Lesson 4 &ndash; Practice You practice their presentations in pairs or small groups and give each other feedback on clarity, structure, and delivery.
Lesson&nbsp; 5 and 6&ndash; Presentations&nbsp; You deliver their presentations.&nbsp;
