English is not just the course you are taking to learn how to use; grammar and vocabulary, read literature or articles, analyse and persuade people. You need to learn about the countries behind the colorful picture to your left.

• Strategier för att lyssna och läsa på olika sätt och med olika syften.

• Olika sätt att söka, välja och kritiskt granska texter och talat språk.

• Muntlig och skriftlig produktion och interaktion av olika slag, även i mer formella sammanhang, där eleverna instruerar, berättar, sammanfattar, förklarar, kommenterar, värderar, motiverar sina åsikter, diskuterar och argumenterar.

1. Select an English speaking country/ countries that you would like to research further. 
2. What subject would you like to research.
   
   School Uniform, Economy, Traditions, Minorities, indigenous people, Death penalty, Gun Laws, Health care, Marketing, Schoolshootings, Environment, Sports, Riots, Culture, Politics, Dialects, Journalism & Fake news, Gay rights, etc. Free choice.
   
   
3. Remember you need to compare countries, either to Sweden or an other English speaking country.
4. Keep track of all your sources! You will need to hand in your sources and brief summary of what you will talk about.  Remember that Digilär might have something for you.
5. Team up with classmates for the examination, either with the same subjects or the same country with different subjects. 

Examination:

Take notes and prepare for the group examination where you will present your result and findings, along with taking an active part in the discussions that takes place. 

Uppgifter

Examination Engl, Sp, World. Summary and list of references

Write a brief summary of the information you will present. Do not forget to hand in your list of reference before the group examination.
