Bend it like Beckham

During this assignment we will be working with the book Bend it like Beckham. We will read the book and discuss themes present in it.

 

Syfte:

• förstå och tolka innehållet i skriven engelska i novell format
• formulera sig och kommunicera i tal och skrift
• använda språkliga strategier för att förstå och göra sig förstådd
• anpassa språket efter olika syften, mottagare och sammanhang
• reflektera över livsvillkor, samhällsfrågor och kulturella företeelser i olika sammanhang och delar av världen där engelska används

Arbetsbeskrivning: 

While reading you will be answering questions after every chapter and having discussions after every third chapter.

 

The questions and discussions will be for the sake of practicing your reading comprehension.

When the book is done you will be put into groups and you will discuss certain themes that are present in the book,

this final discussion will be recorded.
