You will work in teams of two. Each team will be assigned a topic (subject) and a position (for/against).
<h2>Research &amp; creating arguments&nbsp;</h2>
Each team will research facts about the subject they were assigned.&nbsp;
An important part of a debate is to guess what the other team might say. You will also create some possible arguments that the opposing team could use.&nbsp;

Step 1:
The affirmative side has 1 minute for their opening statement. State your arguments and begin the debate.
Step 2:
The opposite side has 1 minute to give their opening statement and rebutt on their oponents.
Step 3:
Person 2 from the affirmative side, answers and continue giving their arguments.
Step 4:
Person 2 from the opposing team continues.
Step 5:
Final statement from affirmative team

Final statement from negative team

Questions from the audience

Vote: which team won the debate?
