The Fault in our stars

Now when you are all well-rested from your winter break it is time to get back to work again. We are going to read and/or listen to one of the most famous YA (young adult) novels ever written.
It a wonderful story about all the things that are important in life. You will get plenty of opportunities to discuss subject matters that are important to people of all ages.

Your copy of the book is the copy you sign out from the library. If you want to listen to the novel you can do that on Internet thanks to Youtube. Just go to Youtube and search for The fault in our stars audiobook. Make sure to write down how many minutes you have listened each session. That way you can easily find your place the next time. 

Make sure you spend your time in class wisely. You can use both lessons in “språkvalet” to read/listen. Depending on how you plan your day in school you might have to read/listen as home as well in order to read the required number of pages each week.  

Keep an eye out for Unikum where you can access this plan as well as different resources that will help you enjoy the book. Unikum is also where you will find information about homework and work that you must hand in.

Week 6 - prepare at home

Till idag vill jag att ni förberett er genom att under läsning/lyssning ha valt ut (minst) en scen eller händelse att berätta om. Det kan vara något som ni tyckte var extra bra, dåligt, roligt, sorgligt, spännande osv.

Week 3 - vocabulary and content

Week 5 - WANTED-posters

Today you will make wanted-posters for Hazel and Gus, using what you know about them so far. Draw their portraits and write a fitting description under each drawing.

Week 3 - "All of the stars" by Ed Sheeran

Tisdag vecka 3 arbetar vi med en hörförståelseövning där vi lyssnar på Ed Sheerans soundtrack till filmatiseringen av boken. Ni får sedan fylla i de saknade orden i en lucktext av hans sång "All of the stars".
