Vi ska göra klassens egna kokbok, med våra favoritrecept. Temat är ett samarbete mellan Engelska och Bild.

Our Favorite Recipes

 

These next couple of weeks we are doing a collaboration between English and Art and the theme this time is Food. We are going to make a cookbook with the class’ favorite recipes.

 

The Art part of the project is to illustrate he recipes through a technique called collage and to do the layout of each page.

The English part of the project is to write/translate a full recipe in proper English with both ingredients and preparation, but also to write a short description. When everything is done we are going to make copies for everyone in the class so you can prepare and cook you classmates’ favorite dish at home.

 

At the Thursday-lessons we are mainly focusing on the Art-part of the project since Camilla is present during those lessons and on the Monday-lesson English will be our main focus.

Week 3

Monday: Kalle is presenting the project.

Thursday: Everybody should have a favorite recipe with them so that you can start thinking about the design and layout of your page in the cookbook. Camilla is presenting the Art-part of the project. We are also going to look at some English recipes to see how they are formulated.  

 

Week 4, 5, 6 and 7

We keep on working with translation of our recipes, and the layout of your page.

 

Week 8

Thursday: Last day of the project/redovisning. This means that you have to be finished with your page no later than the 16^th of February
