Pupils choose a short speech from recent times and reflect on what makes it such a good speech.
Using either the suggested list of famous recent short speeches or a choice of your own, you are to present a well made speech. To do this you will get support from the speech checklist provided. During your presentation make sure to include at least 10 points from the checklist, helping you to explain why this was such a good speech. You should also provide some background to the speech, for example why it was made, and what was its purpose. Your presentation should ideally include a viewing of the speech, but no more than two minutes please.
