Reading and Listening Comprehension - 2019 HT åk 8

One of the important things about English is of course the understanding of the language. To both be able to read and listen are important to be able to master the English language. During several weeks, the seven graders have been working with English texts and also listening exercises for example radio and film. The skills are being tested by three tests, one reading, and two parts of listening. The result will give guidance of the skillset to understand English by the pupil.

 

Innehåll

1. Konkretisering av syfte

To practise and develop our ability to understand English when it comes to reading and listening.

2. Undervisningens innehåll 

There will be three tests, one reading with two different parts and two parts of listening. The result from the to test will result in the students grading form the criterias of understanding English of both reading and listening.

3. Bedömningsuppgifter

The tests show how the students can scan through a test and find the correct answer, it's also about understanding words but also the concept and the situation from reading a text or listening to a radio programme. Using strategies for understanding will be important to be able to find the correct answers on the different questions.

• Strategier för att uppfatta detaljer och sammanhang i talat språk och texter, till exempel att anpassa lyssnande och läsning efter framställningens form, innehåll och syfte.
