A Presentation of an American State
&nbsp;
In this project, you are going to give a presentation of one of the United States of America. You will all work with different states. The aims of this project are: 
a)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;That you learn some more about the US
b)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;That you teach your classmates some more about the US
c)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;That you practice your presentation skills 
d)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;That you practice your abilities to search for and evaluate facts
You will answer the below questions about your chosen state, and then give a PowerPoint-presentation where you present what you have found. Your presentation must be at least 5-10 minutes long. 
You can choose for yourself if you want to present to the whole class, half of the class, a smaller group, to Anna only.

To give you some ideas, these are some questions you could answer in your PP. Of course, if you find something else you find interesting about your state, you are most welcome to include that as well!
1)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;Show us a map of the state. Which is the capital? Which are the biggest cities? Are there any lakes, rivers, mountains, etc., in the state? 
2)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;Does it have a state flag? What does it look like? 
3)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;How many people live in the state? 
4)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;What is the climate like? 
5)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;Give us some historical information about the state.
6)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;Who is the senator of the state? Is it traditionally a democratic or a republican state? 
7)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;What are the state&rsquo;s main sources of income? What do people do for a living? Are there any natural assets? 
8)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;What tourist attractions can be found in the state? 
9)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;What famous people come from the state? 
1&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&hellip;and/or anything else that you might find interesting.
