In this module you will be keeping a journal in which you document your impressions of events surrounding the spread of the Coronavirus throughout the world and their portrayal in the media with a specific focus on English-speaking countries.
We will be reading, watching and/or listening to English-language media that is focused on the spread of the Coronavirus. You will be keeping a daily journal in which you will record your impressions. This journal will then be used to create a multimedia presentation or other creative production at the conclusion of the module (details to follow).
By the end of this module, you will have collected a series of journal entries which will then be available for use in a multimedia presentation or other creative production which demonstrates your ability to collect and utilize materials from English-language sources in your own production.
1. English-language media in the form of text, video, or audio. The media should have as its focus the Coronavirus pandemic.
2. A journal that you will keep in the personal section of your ClassNotebook.
You will be assessed according to the appropriate skill requirements related to the type of project you choose to create at the end of the lesson module (more information to follow).
