You are going to work with words connected to the subject MUSIC. As a start you will read a short biography about the singer Adele. This may be of help to produce a " two minutes" presentation of your favourite artist as a power point or a podcast.

A two minutes speach

For the next couple of lessons we will be working on a music project.

• Choose a singer, a group or some special kind of music that you would like to work with and share with others

The speach could include:

• Introduction

Why did you choose this particular group/singer/music?

What makes them special?

What is your opinion about the group/singer/music?

• Facts about the group/singer/music you have chosen.

For example: history, CDs, videos, group members, concerts etc.

• Analyse the lyrics. (Your thoughts about it can’t be wrong!

What happens in the song?

Why do you think the song was written .

What does the songwriter want to say?

• Listen - but not for 2 minutes .

Try to really work on the presentation and be as creative as possible.
