Letter from a famous "smartie"

We have read about four famous “smarties” in our English book (p. 25-26). This assignment is based on those pages in your book.

This is your assignment: 

• Pick one of the “smarties” (or another one)
• Pretend to be that person during the time he or she was alive 
• Write a letter to yourself from that person 
  
  

 

The letter must include this: 

 

1. Date
     

2. Greeting and name of recipient 
   Hello! Hi! Best....  

3. 
   Introduction 
   May include greetings like “how are you?”, “hope you are well” etc.  
   “I am writing to you because...”  

4. 
   Body 
   This is the main part of your letter. Tell us about yourself (remember you are the “smartie”): 
   - who are you? Where do you live? Your family? How is your life? Is something happening in the world right now? What is your big invention? Etc. 

5. 
   Closure 
   Maybe you want to teach the future you something, or recommend something? 

6. 
   Signature
