This week we will be reading the novel The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. We will learn how the Black Lives Matter movement began and how it is developing at the moment in the USA. We will answer reading comprehension and discussion questions about the novel, both in writing and through group discussions. This week, you will be assessed on your reading skills (comprehension questions), your writing skills (written answers to questions), and your speaking and listening skills (discussing the book and clips that we will watch).
