Water

We learn about the properties of water and the water cycle.

Objectives: The student 

• recognizes the importance of water to living things
• understands how water changes form
• understands the stages of the water cycle - evaporation, condensation, precipitation

Lessons:

• Why is water important? (pp 150-155)
• How do forms of water change? (pp156-161)

Assessment:

By going through the chapter review, checkpoint questions and scaffolded questions in the Teacher Manuel, the teacher helps the student define and understand the following:

•  - germs and disease
•  - the different systems in our body and their functions
