You are about to learn the technique on how create your own film score using Bandlab and iMovie.
CONTENT During this course you will learn how to create music using digital resources and combine sound and image.
PURPOSE To become better at being able to express yourself through music and create your own music mainly with the help of digital music resources.
OBJECTIVE At the end of this course, you should in a structured and methodical way have created film music for the video you have chosen. The music should clearly reflect AND reinforce what is happening in the film scenes. You should also be able to combine and mix image and sound into a finished movie clip using iMovie.

You need to understand musical concepts such as rhythm, timbre and dynamics, pitch, tempo, periods, beats, verse, chorus and chords as building blocks for making music and composing music - and use them in your creation
Follow the work process (see below)
Dare to redo, edit and test again - save several different copies of your work in BandLab so you can go back and listen again
Return to your first planning template and make sure you are working in the right direction or if you need to adjust something
Ask a friend for feedback on your work - here you can get important input and inspiration to rework or develop your ideas
WORK PROCESS
After the initial review by the teacher, you choose the film you want to work with.
Fill out the Forms form that is the basis for planning how to create your music
Then use the Word template to make a detailed plan
Use BandLab as the basis for your music creation. Use your computer to work with Bandlab and an iPad (or your own phone) to watch the video you have selected (see links below)
Halfway into the project, you will have to show your work to a friend to get feedback and tips on improvements
Develop and refine your work with music
When you are done, you export your soundtrack from Bandlab and save on your OneDrive
Open iMovie on iPad and import videos and audio from OneDrive.
Save the movie
Upload the movie as Unlisted on Youtube
Submit the link as a Youtube clip in Unikum
ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION
Assessment requirements at all levels: The information must be submitted in time for it to be assessed. If the submission does not take place in time, the assessment will be F (not participated).
ASSESSMENT & SUBMISSION
Submission takes place via Unikum in the form of a Youtube link with film and the music you have created.
You must also submit your process description
The submission is not complete unless both film and text documents have been submitted.
The assessment takes place at the end of the course according to the matrix below
