English Year 7 HT24

We will read texts about school, pets, scary stories, and celebrations. We will connect with some schools in other countries as we read the book "Hands" by Torrey Maldonado

 

This term we will:

• listen to different stories and conversations. 
• express yourself and communicate in speech and writing. You will write a letter and a journal.
• reflect on how other people live in other English-speaking countries. You will also have some international connections. 
• we will use the book "Awesome 7" and focus on chapters 1, 2, 4 & 5. This is the link to the book where you can listen to texts and work with new vocabulary words. https://www.ovningsmastaren.se/
• read different types of texts. We will also read the book Hands by Torrey Maldonado and The Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine.
