English speaking country

It is time for you to learn more about a country in the world where English is spoken as a first language. Have fun!

There are many countries throughout the world where English is an official language. First pick a country where English is spoken as a first or official language. 

Now it's time for you to learn more about the country of your choice. Below are the different parts that should be included in your work; 

• Basic facts about the country (population, location, other official languages, fun facts)

• Choose a holiday that is celebrated in the country and describe it. Here are some questions to help you get started;  Why is it celebrated? How is it celebrated? It this holiday celebrated in your country as well? 

• Find an author from the country that is known in the world and share some facts about him/her as a person as well as some facts about his/her work. 

• Pick a destination in the country of your choice and describe the destination ans why it is a popular place to visit. 

Now that you have all these facts you need to share them with me and a friend from the group. You can do so by having an oral presentation using Powerpoint or any other program of your choice.
