As you read about the Second World War in history class, a fitting read is "the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas", which is set during that period of time.

Purpose: 

To develop your language by focusing on reading, new words, reflecting, discussing and writing.

 

Period of time: w.12-18

 

Content/ Course of action:

We are going to read and dicuss/analyze the book "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas". 

 

 

 In class:

You will have time to read as well as answering questions (the reading log).

 

Homework: 

Each week you read the assigned chapter

You may also be asked to work with the vocabulary in some way.

Work with the questions related to the text (reading log)

Prepare for a discussion of literature.

Your written documentation (reading log) as well as your participation in the discussion of literature.
