Are you scared?

Why are we so fascinated by horror and by being scared? What makes, for example, Halloween so intriguing to so many people? During the next few weeks, we will get a deeper understanding of our reactions to horror and spooky stories. We will also discuss the holiday Halloween. At the end of the unit you will write a story of your own.
In the classroom
In the classroom we will work with the theme "horror". We will also look into the holiday "Halloween".
Listening, reading and speaking
During this period, you will watch, listen to as well as read some horror/spooky stories. Furthermore, you will work with the stories in different ways. The focus will be on words and on the content of the stories. You will also get a chance to discuss these stories.
Writing
You will practice your writing skills by writing your own horror story. When you've written your story, you will get feedback on it and you will have time to rewrite it.
Searching for information
In order to develop your digital competence further, searching for information on the Internet will be a specific task when it comes to Halloween.
