<p>We will work with the first chapter in Happy 9: Music. Each week we work with a new text and practice reading, listening, speaking and writing. &nbsp;Homework is a written or spoken task- see below. The first tasks are practice where you get valuable feedback from your teachers. The last two tasks: Week 42, a written blog post, and week 43, a retelling, are made in school and then your ability to write and to speak will be graded. Week 45 we will also start practicing reading and listening comprehension from old National Tests (NP). We practice one round and then you will do one test that will be graded.</p>
<p><strong>Week 38</strong> It started with the King.<br /><strong>Homework</strong>: Make a summary of the content of about 100-150 words.<br /><br /><strong>Week 39</strong> Just Sixteen<br /><strong>Homework:</strong>&nbsp;Interview one (or both) of your parents about what it was like when he/she was 16 years old. Prepare your questions first. You can ask, for example, about what clothes they wore, what music they listened to, what school was like, and what they did in their free time. Which songs and films were at the top of the charts that year? Think of more questions to ask.<br />You do a recording (2-5 minutes long) in iMovie where you tell us what you found out.<br /><br /><strong>Week 40</strong> Singing Means Everything- Or Does it?<br /><strong>Homework</strong>: Write a blog post about:</p>

Give examples of music videos you like and disklike and tell us why you think this. Do you think the content of music videos often is too violent and sexist? Why is it so? What can we do about it?<br />This task will be written in school and it will be graded.</div>

Engelska

Eleven kan förstå <em>det huvudsakliga</em> innehållet <em>och uppfatta tydliga detaljer</em> i talad engelska i måttligt tempo i olika genrer.

 Eleven visar sin förståelse genom att <em>översiktligt</em> redogöra för, diskutera och kommentera innehåll och detaljer samt genom att <em>med godtagbart resultat</em> agera utifrån budskap och instruktioner i innehållet. 

 För att underlätta sin förståelse av innehållet i det talade språket och texterna kan eleven välja och använda sig av <em>någon</em> strategi för lyssnande och läsning.
