När?

The children’s safety and security in their groups, as well as the whole preschool by building solid, reliable relationships between pedagogues and the children, the child and other children and the pedagogues with the other pedagogues.

Vad ska utvecklas?

By building a sense of belonging to groups and an understanding of reciprocal rights and responsibilities we are laying the foundation for a well-functioning group that feels safe, secure and confident that their needs will be met by all pedagogues. This feeling of safety and security will be built upon over the course the term by providing the children with confidence to try new things, ask questions and participate in their own learning.

The preschool should strive to ensure that each child; 
• develop their identity and feel secure in themselves, 
• develop self-autonomy and confidence in their own ability, 
• develop their ability to function individually and in a group, handle conflicts and understand rights and obligations, as well as take responsibility for common rules. 

Preschool teachers are responsible for;
• each child, together with their parents, receiving a good introduction to the preschool.

* Enheten stimulerar barnens samspel och visar respekt för individen samt medverkar till att det skapas ett demokratiskt klimat i förskolan, där samhörighet och ansvar kan utvecklas och där barnen får möjlighet att visa solidaritet.

* Children are confident members of the group who participate in various activities at a level suitable to their age/development/needs. 
* All members of Butterflies (children and pedagogues) are comfortable in the daily routines. This will be shown through a calm working and learning environment. 
* Children are happy during drop off and pick up and can reflect on one or two events from the day, depending on their age and development level.

Målkriterier?

We have a child group with varying ages and abilities (2.5-5 years). There are many young children who have moved from Caterpillars and the in-schooling of children from outside the preschool is ongoing through to the end of October. There is also a new working group of pedagogues where adults and children are getting to know each other.

Nuläge

Focus on the daily routines and working in smaller groups to strengthen relationships between pedagogues and children. Be active in activities with the children and introduce them to all areas of the preschool. Both inside and outside. Engage the children in conversation and discussion to learn their interests and what they are curious about. Use these interviews and observations as the basis for building the preschool environment, activities, Lärlogg and Individual Development Plans.

Hur?

ALL pedagogues in Butterflies are responsible for the safety, security and development of ALL the children’s needs and interests. Kiralee and Sanna (Jungle), Baran and Mirtha (Garden) are responsible for overseeing that planning and evaluation and overall daily practice follow a pedagogical, child centered method.

Continuously – during weekly planning meetings, lärlogg entries and IDP’s. Analysis to be completed when the working group feels that the Trygghetsperiod has finished.
