The Maasai People (speaking)

A realia project about the Maasai people
This is the spoken part of the presentation.
You will create your own Maasai character and be interviewed by another pupil who will act as a reporter.
You will also prepare questions to ask a member of the Maasai tribe.

You are going to study the realia of the Maasai people which means you have to learn different things  such as general facts about the people, nature, population, history, culture, education and animals.

You will work with different texts about the Maasai people and you will select facts and include them in your presentation.

Weekly plan 41-45

We will read texts, work with vocabulary , watch films, have discusisons and write facts about the Maasai.

• Collect all the facts you need. Write bullet notes (stödord) about the things you learn.

 

Week 45: Oral presentation in pairs. You take turns in being a Maasai character and a reporter. The interview will be recorded and last for a maximum of 10 minutes (5 minutes per person)
