Sports around the world

You are going present facts about a sport that you want to find out more about. This is a written assignment.

Once you have made up your mind, you start writing down questions that you want to find answers to. 

Here are some examples of contents:

• the history of the sport (origin, development..)
• how you practise this sport, rules and regulations
• different ways to compete, national and/or international. Is this sport a part of the Olympic Games?
• equipment you need, expensive or cheap
• where this sport is popular ( countries, different parts of the world)
• what you need to practise this sport ( ice, grass, fields, indoor/outdoor, lots of people, less people)
• the status of the sport
• gender ( male/female oriented)
• comparison Sweden another country
• what you need to become a pro ( if possible)
• motivation of why you have chosen this sport

This is a written assignment only. You need to be finished on Oct 27. That gives you approximately five lessons to use. You also might need to write on your project at home.
