Life in Britain

During the next few weeks you are going to carry out a project about Great Britain. Great Britain is composed of England, Wales and Scotland. Together with Northern Ireland, Great Britain forms the United Kingdom. This task will assess your writing and oral skills.

1. Choose one of the countries of the United Kingdom and collect useful information about the followings:

a. Basic facts about the country (location, population, capital and nature)

b. The language

c. The music

d. Sports

e. Cities

f . Other things you find interesting (e.g. famous people, teenage life, books, movies etc.)

2. Present your facts in form of a slideshow or make a poster with pictures and texts and prepare an oral presentation that you will make in front of your class or teacher.
