Year 8 - Song lyrics

We will work step-by-step towards interpreting a song lyric.

First we talk about different analytical tools that you can use when you are analysing song lyrics and poetry: 

WORDS - REPETITION - RHYME - IMAGERY - THEME

Then we listen to a song, work through the different steps and come to our interpretation of the theme of the song. 

A written analysis is handed in.
