Oral presentations – Feed the Right Wolf
Think about “The Freedom Writers”. What did you learn about crime, gang wars, racism and poverty? Also think about my speech this Monday. Can you use the work we have done in English class over the last two weeks to make good choices for yourself in the future?
If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.

Thursday the 18th of May:

1. Team up with other students, or choose to work individually;
2. choose information in English for a speech on the subjects we have worked with;
3. think about what is different/similar to your own culture.

Homework for Monday the 22nd of May:

1. Brainstorm/mind map and outline a speech (same method as for your essays);
2. choose pictures to go with the information in your notes;
3. choose a short video (1-2 min.) and prepare to explain why you chose it.

Monday the 22nd of May:

1. Write key words for your presentation (around 2 minutes/student);
2. practice and let me know when you feel ready for your presentation;
3. present your work to at least two classmates;
4. assess your own presentation and the presentations of the classmates you have listened to.

Thursday the 1st of June and Thursday the 8th of June: The two last classes before your grades are registered.
