Writing about and reflecting on life in English-speaking countries..
For the last four English lessons of this year and on Fuxernaskolan we will focus on other English-speaking countries than USA and Great Britain, that we have talked about before. You will choose a country and find facts about it. Write down your facts in a text and don’t forget to include pictures. Use the headlines below.
Don’t forget to include a comparison to Sweden or any other country that you are familiar with under each headline. Choose two of the headlines that you find interesting.
Finish your text by discussing why you chose that country AND if you could live there or not. Why would it be a good place to live OR why would you never ever want to live there?
Include your sources in the end.
You may choose any country that have English as an official language. Here are a few suggestions:
Canada
Ireland
Gibraltar
Malta
South Africa
Australia
New Zealand
India
Zambia
Bahamas
Jamaica
Falkland Islands
Papa New Guinea
Philippines
Kenya
Hong Kong
Belize
