Below you see the guidelines how to write and what to include. It is important you follow the instructions and go through your text and search for correct words, expressions, grammar and spelling.Then you let at least two students look at your text.  

You will be writing a text individually about your dream school. I want you to write at least 1 page. You follow the instructions and make sure that you include all of the sixteen aspects below. Try to make it realistic. Imagine that it is the school you or your child would go to. Hand in your text at Unikum.  

 You have to include:  

 • What is the name of the school? 

 • The building – What does it look like? Inside and outside.  

• If you start at your school, what can you expect (förvänta dig) as a pupil?  

 • Teachers – How many? What kind?  

• Pupils – How many? What ages?  

• Subjects – Which? 

 • Schooldays – How long? How many lessons? What does a schedule look like?  

 • How many terms? How long are the breaks?   

• How about test? Many or few? What kind of tests?  

• Do you give grades? What kind? Starting when?  

• Schooltrips – Where? Why?   

• What are the school rules?   

• What is the school motto?  

• Does the school have a special direction (inriktning)?

  • What is best about your school?
  
• Do you have any problems? If yes, what do you do about them? If no, why don´t you have any problems?

Correct vocabulary in the sentence (she&rsquo;s/her)
Grammar mistakes (is/are, was/were, have/has, wordorder, verb tenses)
Spelling mistakes (whit = with, to/too, your/you&rsquo;re, its/it&rsquo;s, meat/meet
Spoken and written language (gonna-going to, wanna-want to, you-u)
* Then make sure you have; a capital (stor) letter in the beginning of every sentence and capital letter on I in a&nbsp;sentence. dot (punkt) in the end of every sentence no really long sentences. Use dots and commas.
* If you use abbreviations (f&ouml;rkortningar) (it&rsquo;s, wasn&rsquo;t etc., make sure you put the apostrophe in the right place (not its). If you are unsure about how to use abbreviations, just write it is, was not etc.
* Look for variation in your text How to begin a sentence (not too many I, he, she) You mustn&rsquo;t begin a sentence with and, but etc. (these are linking&nbsp;words). Use a variation of difficult words and expressions. * Look for correct preposition words, i.e. angry with (not at), look at (not on).
OBS! Before you hand in your text you let at least (minst) one person read your text!
