Description of goals

• Learn new words – there will be a test on each of the texts

• Read and understand different texts

• Work with different exercises which will help you to understand the texts better

• Use different strategies when working and learning

• speak English during lessons

• Write a text –“My superhero”, where you show that you can use words that we’ve learned during this project

• Present your superhero to the class

• Learn irregular verbs and be able to use them in sentences

Writing

Write a text about your superhero. You should also draw a picture of it. Your text should include:

• Name, powers, characteristics, personality, special features, clothing and a weakness. If you want to, you can add other things as well

• Your text should be ½ a page-1 page long and handwritten – two lessons

• Your text should include a heading, paragraphing and the correct use of punctuation and capital letters

Presentation

• You’ll tell about your superhero to the class

• Bring keynotes and your superhero-drawing

• Your presentation should be 2-3 minutes long

Evaluation and assessment(bedömning) of your work

I will look at:

• How well you learn new words

• How well write

• How well you work with different exercises, what strategies you can use etc.

• How well you speak

• How well you can use irregular verbs

• How well you understand what you read
