LPP muntlig presentation "Culture quest"

You are going to present a country that has English as official language.

You will work in groups and investigate different cultural aspects of an English speaking country. You are going to use the Internet in order to find cultural information about an English speaking country. Try to compare between the Swedish culture and the English speaking country culture when you can do that.

Research the following:

●  A brief history of the country and some geographical information (if you can explain how your country becomes an English speaking country)

●  Values, attitudes and traditions (like food, sports etc.)

●  Political and social relations (eg equality between genders, family structure, education, work)

●  Literature, myths and folktales

●  A video clip of how the dialect sounds like/ You can add a comparison about some funny differences that you found

Divide the work between each other. Each member will choose one item from the list. Include :

-  A map and photos

-  Your Internet sources

● Oral presentation.

-  10 minutes long

-  Present the information in a powerpoint, google presentation, keynote etc

- Try to be creative AND THINK OUT OF THE BOX

This will be evaluated:

• Pronounciation and melody
• Vocabulary
• Your fluency
• How you solve language problems (strategies) 
• How well you look att similarities and differences between Sweden and your chosen country

We will begin the presentations Tuesday 14th of Novemnber
