Soon it´s Christmas! How do they celebrate Christmas in different countries? Let´s find out!

1.

Form groups of three and pick an English speaking country. Find some information about how Christmas is celebrated in these countries. Make a presentation  about Christmas traditions and be ready to show it to the class.

2.

Then, compare your findings with Swedish tradition and your own knowledge about it. 

Your presentation should include:

• Christmast celebration
• Christmas gifts (do they open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day etc.)
• Christmas tree and other decorations
• Santa Claus
• Food
• Location
• Other (Christmas carols, tv-shows, books, stockings, etc.)

Christmas

You will work in groups and research how other cultures and countries cerebrate Christmas. You will then present your findings to the class. You may make a power point, a slide show, any type of visual help you choose. Posters can be made too. I will be looking at how much you participate in your groups, how much English is spoken during your group work and what the end result is. Good luck!
