What is your dream destination?

During a couple of weeks, we are going to work with the theme "travelling". We are going to work with some texts in the coursebook from Good Stuff, more specific the chapter "Flying" (p.52-62).  You can practice on the words from the chapter on the platsform Quizlet, just follow this link:

As a final task, you will write a text about your dream destination (look below).

 

Travelling to your dream destination

The charter companies Ving, Apollo and Fritidsresor have started a competition where the winner gets a chance to travel to a destination of their choice. Do you want to go surfing in Australia? Do you want to climb mountains in the Himalaya or go to Stamford Bridge and watch Chelsea play?

If you are between the ages 13-15 you have an opportunity to make this dream come true. Write a letter and motivate why we should pick you.

The following points could be included:

Introduce yourself briefly.

Explain where you want to travel and why.

Who would you bring to this holiday? Motivate your choice.

Suggest different activities for the trip—indoors/outdoors, days/evenings, etc. Why would they be meaningful?

End the letter with a summary on why we should choose you to be our winner.

Your text should be at least 300 words, but not more than 500 words. Make sure you look through what you have written.
