Crime

A late night. A large storm has erupted outside with the rain pouring down like a tap. The police inspector stares down at the mutilated body on the black asphalt. "Who did this?" crosses the inspector's mind.

We will soon find out! In this project, you will read and learn about crime stories of different kinds. Let them inspire you with numerous exercises and assignments and allow you to find the clues to the mystery!

The theme of this project is crime. You will mainly work in the "Crime"-worksheet, where you can find two chapters with corresponding exercises from "Third Time"-textbook and workbook and also some other more in-depth exercises. 

You will practise on all four abilities/skills - speaking, writing, listening and reading. I will assess your performance on every part.

Reading: 
- Two texts; "Crimes that went wrong" and "Welcome to our bank"
- Reading comprehension questions

Listening:
- "Jack the Ripper"-story and "Class Reunion"-story with listening comprehension exercises.

Writing:
- "Case #1234: Unsolved"

Speaking:
- "Which one is the worst?" and the group discussion about the crime movie.


Time schedule:

Week 1: working with chapter 2A "Crimes that went wrong"
Week 2: working with "Jack the Ripper"-story and "Which one is the worst"
Week 3: working with chapter 2B "Welcome to our bank"
Week 4: working with "Class Reunion"-story and "Case #1234: Unsolved"
Week 5: watching a crime movie and have group discussions about the movie.

When we are done with the project, I want you to hand in the worksheet and the performances for the in-depth exercises.
