Engelska - Spotlight 4 Unit 1

During English lessons in year 4, we will be continuing to speak, write, listen and read in English. We will be watching films, playing games, reading texts and books. You will also have a chance to work with Spotlight exercises online as well. Sometimes we will have a quiz on vocabulary or grammar.

Syfte

Genom undervisningen ska eleverna ges möjlighet att utveckla en allsidig kommunikativ förmåga. Denna förmåga innebär att förstå enkel talad och skriven engelska, kunna formulera sig och samspela med andra i tal och skrift och att kunna anpassa sitt språk till olika situationer och syften och mottagare.

During weeks 36-40

We will be practicing greetings and have a short conversation with someone. You can speak about the weather, pets or the garden.

We'll practice the following words:  want/don't want, like/dislike, have/don't have, can/can't

You'll have a chance to practice alone or in a small group, orally and in Writing and in conversations or discussion.

You will be assessed on the following:

• Greet and present yourself with your name, age and where you live.
• Speak about another person or animal
• Speak about the weather

• Tell about something you want or don't want

• Tell about something you can do or can't do.

Uppföljning/ Utvärdering

Utvärdering sker löpande under arbetet både muntligt och skriftligt. Elevernas framsteg dokumenteras skriftligt och det eleverna producerar skriftligt sparas.
